Personal data, including any data you communicate to us within the scope of placing an order or submitting an enquiry via our website, are only collected, processed and used by us to the extent permitted by law, or otherwise treated as being relevant for data protection. We require this data for the further processing and completion of your order and to make contact with you. SSL, an acronym for "secure socket layer", is an encryption method that is successfully used throughout the Internet. With this method, all personal data, e.g. your address, is encrypted during transmission over the Internet, meaning that these details are protected from third parties during transmission. The icon (closed padlock) in the address bar of your browser (icon may vary depending on the browser) informs you that you are in an area secured with SSL.

3. Cookies when using our websites

Cookies are small text files which are stored on your PC by your browser when visiting our website. These files do not damage your PC and do not contain any viruses or other malware. 5. Downloads when using our websites

Electronic files we have made available and which are suitable for downloading have been checked within the scope of the respective, technical standard for malware, e.g. electronic viruses. Due to the technical nature of the Internet, it is not possible however to totally rule out that, irrespective of this, by downloading the file(s) we have made available, malware may also be downloaded onto your computer system at the same time. It is therefore imperative to ensure that your computer system is protected against malware according to the available means of protection for the particular system. 6. Information on visitor tracking with etracker when using our websites

On our website, we use technologies from etracker GmbH (www.etracker.com) to collect and save data for marketing and optimisation purposes. From this data usage profiles can be generated under a pseudonym. Cookies can be used for this. Cookies are small text files that are saved locally in the cache of the Internet browser used by the site visitor. Using cookies makes it possible to recognise the web browser. The data collected with the etracker technologies is not used without separate adequate permission in accordance with the legal requirements being given by the respective individual for personally identifying the visitor of this website and is not merged with personal data pertaining to the bearer of this pseudonym. The collection and saving of data can be revoked at any time with effect for the future. Rights of access and deletion remain unaffected.

7. Right of objection

Under the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), you have a right to object to your data being used or transferred for advertising purposes (lock indicator). Under certain circumstances, there is also a right of correction, blocking and deletion of your data saved on our systems.

8. Right of access / deletion of data

You have the right, upon request and free of charge to receive written information on the personal data we hold on you in our systems. Upon request, we will inform you where this data originates from, to whom it is communicated and for what purpose it is processed electronically by us. Needless to say, you have the right to request the deletion of your data within the statutory framework.
