Ehrhardt Reifen + Autoservice in PNEUNET

As part of the transfer to the Pneuhage Group on 1 January 2016 by the owner Rolf Ehrhardt, the company Ehrhardt Reifen + Autoservice GmbH & Co. KG has now become an official part of the PNEUNET network following its certification.

The company with over 200 employees and 27 service stations for tyre and motor vehicle services in Lower Saxony, Thuringia, Saxony-Anhalt and Hessen is known regionally as a leading specialist dealer. It will continue to be managed in future under its current market presence as "Ehrhardt Reifen + Autoservice".

The family company founded in 1946 was managed from 1976 until the end of 2016 by Rolf Ehrhardt in the third generation. The company's head office is in Wulften, where it also operates a state-of-the-art and highly efficient retreading plant.

The transfer was conducted within the scope of a succession regulation with the aim of continuing under the direction of an owner-operated family business. Businessman Rolf Ehrhardt is delighted to have found a profitable and likewise owner-operated successor in the Pneuhage Group: "Pneuhage is - as a full-range provider and with similar customer focus - in a position to continue the high standard of service across all product groups on behalf of our customers. Belonging to one of the largest independent wholesale and retail traders constitutes a solid basis for the successful further development of the Reifen Ehrhardt companies and accordingly for the future of its employees."

For the Pneuhage Group, this growth means more than just an expansion of the distribution network. Owner Peter Schütterle emphasizes: "It is a great honour for us to continue the service stations and retreading plant of Reifen Ehrhardt. It underscores the confidence in the leadership of our corporate group and that our services in the industry are regarded accordingly. The stations are not only an ideal expansion of the directly adjacent sales territory of our 90 Pneuhage tyre service stations. We are looking forward to developing synergies together in future and to expanding these over the long term." By way of example, the connection to the ERP systems of the Pneuhage Group in early 2017 has already made numerous processes easier. The billing of fleet customers in PNEUNET ensues centrally via Pneuhage Service GmbH.
