In Austria, the companies of the dealer Eurowheel specialising in truck and commercial vehicle tyre services complement the existing network at the hubs Vorchdorf and Linz. On the Iberian peninsula, over 50 stations of RECACOR will in future provide important ports of call for fleets travelling to Spain. The owner-operated tyre dealer chain with its own retreading facility provides a mobile breakdown service with over 400 employees, likewise 24 hours a day 365 days of the year.
From the second half of the year, PNEUNET experiences a further growth spurt in Germany by welcoming 47 companies of First Stop Germany. Managed by Bridgestone up until now, within the scope of a joint venture, they will be operating under the direction of the independent Pneuhage Group from 1 June 2017. This means that they can join the independent PNEUNET network subject to corresponding certification. This option is also available to the some 150 branches of the First Stop partners in Germany.
